Pineapple Tarts

Pineapple Tart

I finally found the best pineapple tart pastry. Its from Jo Deli

[A]
300g Butter ( I uses Golden Fern)
130g Margerine

[B]
1 egg

[C]
100g Icig Sugar
80g Milk Powder
600g Cake Flour
30g Custard Powder

Method

Cream margarine and butter until light and fluffy ( about 2 minutes)
Add in egg and beat until combined
Add in flour mixture and knead until form dough

Notes
1. If dough is too sticky, refrigerate for 10 minutes
2. I uses Golden Fern butter here and find that the aroma and taste of this tarts simple irresistible

Here's the result

Hi, I love your recipe!! Tried baking and it turned out fanstatic. I need your advise, I wanted the crust to melts in mouth the moment i pop 1 in but the first bite it's a little crisp than it melted. Is this the right texture?

hi,
It has been quite some time i baked this.
I think the texture should be a little melt in mouth. Or should say as "soft" Not so much on crust.
When u make the pastry, the dough should soft enough to mould into shape.
