Steamed Moist Chocolate Cake II


After successuful attempt making steamed chocolate, here's another recipe which uses both evaporated and condensed milk, result in a very aromatic moist chocolate cake. 
If you like a healthier version, you might like to try this recipe.










recipe from Steamed Cake by Zubaidah Bt Chepa

[A]
100g cocoa powder
200g sugar (reduced from 250g)
1 tin evaporated milk (I uses carnation brand)
200g oil
250g condensed milk

[B]
4 eggs (lightly beaten)
150g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

Method
  1. Combine [A] in saucepan and heat until smooth
  2. Remove [A] from heat, stir in eggs
  3. Fold in [B] and whisk lightly until combined (DO NOT OVER MIXED)
  4. Steam at high heat for 50 min





Notes
I uses 10" x 10" pan
If you are like me uses the wok to steam, you might need to add some hot water to the wok after 30 minutes of steaming.
