Butter Cake

I have been baking a lot of butter from Kevin (oily) to Dories Greenspan (dry) ^_^ .And this is the best by far..moist,tender with buttery taste but not too oily. The original recipe is from  A Daily Obsession

Butter Cake

360 g  butter (1 can Golden Churn )
270 g  caster sugar
9 egg yolks

330g flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
60 ml milk

9 Egg  whites
90g sugar
1/2 tsp cream of tartar

Method for meringue :
1.Beat egg white until frothy, add in sugar gradually.
2.When the egg white turn foamy,add in cream of tartar and continue
   beat until stiff peak (bowl can turn upside down  and egg white not
   falling)

Method  :
1. Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy (about 3-5 min )
2. Add egg yolk one at a time and mix until combine
3. Add in milk
4. Fold in Flour
5. Fold in meringue
6. Bake at preheated oven 160 C for 50-60 min

Note :

**I m using 10" x 10" pan size
