Durian Cupcakes
recipe adapted from "My Kitchen :My Laboratory"
Ingredients
[A]
100g plain flour
125g cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
[B]
200g yogurt
160g durian flesh
[C]
85g butter
150g sugar (reduced from 180g)
[D]
2 eggs beaten
Method
1.Beat Sugar and butter until light
2.Add in egg gradually
3.Add in flour and yogurt mix alternately
Went for some shopping today. Bought some cheap durian from Jusco.
This is my second attempt baking durian cakes. The first one was Yocanna's recipe "Durian Cream Cake" love by everyone. This time, i didn't buy the non diary whipping cream and the optima flour. So trying another recipe.
No photo show here as hubby took the digital camera overseas...
Note:
Always choose "dark" colour durian when baking. It is okay if the durian is "watery" as they are often more aroma than yellow skin durian
